Harris, and Avalon Stacy Harris.ĭavid is survived by his wife, Kathi Turner of Andrews, mother, Sammie Harris Turner of Azle, 2 daughters, Angela Rea Turner and Lacey Dawn Turner, both of Boerne, 4 grandchildren, Blake, Brady, and Emberlin Baker, and David Schooley, and 2 siblings, Stacy Turner and wife, Kim, of Del Rio and Patti Cloe of Belton. He was a Baptist and was preceded in death by his father, Jimmy Turner, and grandparents, Raymond Turner, Velma Turner, W.W. He loved spending time though with his wife, his daughters, grandchildren, and his Chocolate Lab, Addie Belle. Cowboy Shooters for over 20 years and was known as Wau Ban See. He loved spending time with his high school buddies on their reunions to Harry Rita Ranch. He was an avid historian on Texas and the Civil War, and he was very proud of the research on his Turner Family Lineage and being a 7th generation Texan. He loved to collect arrowheads, collect quilts, was an avid golfer, enjoyed photography, and going on Steamboat River Cruises with his wife. They moved back to Andrews in 1997, where he has been a consultant in the oil and gas industry in the Permian Basin. He had worked for Haliburton in Andrews and Fleet Energy in Eastland. He had worked for Forrest Lumber Company in Lubbock, and Mustang Lumber in Andrews. He married Kathi Lynne Kent on Jin Knox City, Texas.

Cremation arrangements were under the personal care of McNett Funeral Home in Andrews.

David Harris Turner, 65, of Andrews passed away on Wednesday, Januin Andrews surrounded by his loving family.įamily and friends will gather to celebrate his life at a memorial service at 2:00 PM Saturday, Februat Camp San Saba Cemetery in McCulloch County, Texas.
